US Vets for Ukraine is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to supporting Ukrainian defenders fighting for their freedom. We believe in the values of liberty, democracy, and the right to self-determination – values that the Ukrainian people are bravely defending against Russian aggression.
US Vets for Ukraine is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization representing a wide range of veterans dedicated to supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. US Vets for Ukraine was founded by two High School Buddies (see above) who served together in the War in Vietnam.
American veterans are uniquely qualified to support Ukraine. Every one of us took an oath “to preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States.” For generations, we have proudly served our nation through Republican and Democratic Administrations. We know the terrible cost of war; we have lived it. But we also know that appeasing totalitarian dictators like Vladimir Putin, does not lead to peace. It leads to more and more aggression.
US Veterans for Ukraine will support legislation and candidates, regardless of Party, who will commit to defending the right of Ukraine to live as a free and independent state. Ukraine’s fight is our fight, and we fully support its heroic efforts to defend its people, its territory, and its right to exist as a sovereign nation.
We will support candidates in an non-partisan fashion who support aid to ukraine work with the IAM to reach veterans, defense industry workers and other IAM members to work in swing states for support for Ukraine and American politicians who support military aid to Ukraine. Putting Veterans and defense workers' boots on the ground will bring a message to these who are difficult to reach.
